The food was delicious, especially the cajun blue cheese catfish. Unfortunately, the service was slow and the drinks were flat.

Oh, how the thayer hotel could have been good, if only i weren't placed directly above the obnoxiously loud kitchen ventilation. The all-night trains? Super charming. I thought a complimentary bottle of wine would be waiting for me, but clearly, my expectations were far too high. Absoultely disappointing!

perfect spot for city exploration and park views
i loved how close this place is to pioneer park, just a short walk away, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll among the trees, plus, the charming coffee shop, in hot water coffee-tea house, is only a few steps from the hotel, ideal for grabbing a warm drink before heading out to explore the area.

The suite with a spa bath offered a luxurious and relaxing experience, perfect for a couple looking to unwind. The ambience felt quite cozy, especially with the fairy lit patio just waiting for warmer nights.
On the downside, being placed in a room directly above the kitchen's ventilation equipment created a constant noise problem that became quite bothersome.

The cozy spa bath provided a nice touch after a long day. Try to ask for a quieter room if you're sensitive to noise.

During our recent stay in a small hotel, we had a great experience. the staff was fantastic and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had the opportunity to eat dinner and breakfast in-house, and both meals were exceptional. the hotel is in walking distance from a fantastic local brewery, which is a big plus. Our room was cozy and charming, a perfect place to rest after an exciting day of exploration.
While the location was great, it had one drawback. the train passing by at night startled us, but thankfully we managed to fall back asleep quickly.

The hotel had a friendly staff that offered great dining options with a wide selection to choose from. its key location made it a walking distance from the local brewery, making it an ideal spot for beer lovers. The hotel's design was also very beautiful and charming, giving it a unique atmosphere.
Although the hotel was lovely, it could use a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness. , the quality of the mattress and pillows could be better.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of a local brewery, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff at the hotel were friendly and cute, making us feel right at home. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food was delicious. The selection of food and drink was also excellent. Despite knowing about the train passing by at night, it did startle us, but we quickly went back to sleep. The claw foot tub in our room was a great feature, although the shower could have been better. If we stay at this hotel again, we would definitely bring our own pillows. we recommend this hotel for its great location, friendly staff, and tasty food.
