The food was delicious, especially the cajun blue cheese catfish. Unfortunately, the service was slow and the drinks were flat.

The suite was beautifully decorated, and the jet bath was a luxurious touch. The staff were warm, and service during dinner was impressively prompt.

Oh, how the thayer hotel could have been good, if only i weren't placed directly above the obnoxiously loud kitchen ventilation. The all-night trains? Super charming. I thought a complimentary bottle of wine would be waiting for me, but clearly, my expectations were far too high. Absoultely disappointing!

perfect spot for city exploration and park views

i loved how close this place is to pioneer park, just a short walk away, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll among the trees, plus, the charming coffee shop, in hot water coffee-tea house, is only a few steps from the hotel, ideal for grabbing a warm drink before heading out to explore the area.

The suite with a spa bath offered a luxurious and relaxing experience, perfect for a couple looking to unwind. The ambience felt quite cozy, especially with the fairy lit patio just waiting for warmer nights.

On the downside, being placed in a room directly above the kitchen's ventilation equipment created a constant noise problem that became quite bothersome.

The cozy spa bath provided a nice touch after a long day. Try to ask for a quieter room if you're sensitive to noise.

While the location was great, it had one drawback. the train passing by at night startled us, but thankfully we managed to fall back asleep quickly.
